Lovingly hand crafted by Brent from concrete and locally sourced obsidian crystals, this space is for you to relax, soak, be still, watch and let go of whatever may be clouding your awareness.
Our intention with the crystal bath is to provide the ultimate energetic grounding experience. Immersion in harvested rainwater, a bath made from rock, cut into the earth, head resting on an obsidian pillow with a crystal grid in all corners. When combined with the natural surroundings, views of Tongariro and the vastness of the night sky we hope there is some power here if you have the intention for it.
It’s a huge bath for one, or a snuggly top & tail fit for two.
Privately located to the east of the Hut, and screened by the woodshed and vegetation. Only the cows and sheep can see you!

Obsidian spiritual properties; is a highly-regarded protective stone, known for its ability to block, absorb, and transform negative energy. Obsidian is believed to be a stone of clarity, with the ability to release emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages, drawing out stress and tension. Feel free to ‘cleanse’ the crystals by pouring some water on them all before you begin your soak.
How Obsidian was made; is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth.
